Established in Kyoto in the 1920s, this family-owned business has been selling expertly crafted candy for nearly a century. Their persimmon candy perfectly captures the natural, subtle sweetness and complexity of our favorite fall fruit!

Persimmon is a popular autumn fruit in Japan due to its limited seasonality. It has a sweet, rich flavor that’s almost honey-like and is unlike any other fruit. It ripens to a beautiful orange, which is intentionally reflected in this candy’s vibrant color.
